“So, you’re a Songluan now?”

Lentia rolls her eyes at the old Bratkovan neighbor. They always do that whenever she comes to visit her foster father, making unnecessary comments about her, who’s now more of a foreigner than ever. Not that she regrets leaving Bratkovice, even after more than 10 years growing up here, they still treated her like stranger. But it’s still annoying sometimes, even if she’s already used to it..

“Nice to meet you too,” says the thief, flashes a smile to the man before heading down to the city square. There’ll be a fair and a bazaar today, but unfortunately, both Theo and Caleb can’t join her. Theo is expecting a company, and Caleb has a date with her ex-sweetheart, and Lentia prays so hard that she doesn’t have to meet the pair in the bazaar.

The weather is cold and dry today, like usual, but thankfully the sky is clear and sunny. “Alright, I’m ready for some hunting!” Lentia says, stretching herself.

Having stopped by the river to let Pup take a drink, Leo ran his fingers through Pup's feathers.

"We're almost there. Just another ten minutes of flying and we should make it into the city," he told Pup.

In response to him, Pup made a gurgling noise as he continued to drink from the river.

"I'm kind of excited, you know? With so many nice things to sell, I think we'll be set for a couple of months," he added as he gave the eagriff a cheeky smile. "We got pretty lucky finding that ruin. I nearly died if it wasn't for you," he chortled.

Lentia finally arrives at the bazaar, and the first thing she does is smirk. Despite disliking strangers, the Bratkovan are coming anyway, making as many as foreign merchants to be uncomfortable with their cold glare and harsh words.

Now, where should Lentia start? She’s in the mood to meet new people today, probably one of the merchant. Who knows if she can make more acquaintances who’ll ~~run when they see her~~ gives her generous discount every time she shops.

Well, while waiting something to catch her eyes, she should probably start to fill her stomach first, that’s why she’s heading to the pastry stall in the food section.

Upon arriving into the town square after the spurt of flying, Leo didn't have the time to set Pup into the stables. Instead, he brought the beast along. There were all sorts of animals in the Bratkowice marketplace anyways. Although Leo hoped not to draw attention, an eagriff in the Koben Empire was basically the same as waving about a giant Miras Kingdom flag.

Regret started sinking in at the realization, but it was too late now. He had already paid for a nice spot that would garner him decent traffic. It even had enough space for Pup to settle and nap beside him. Laying out a clean, well-kept velvet fabric, Leo began laying out the wares he had garnered from his previous exploration. Jewelry, gold cups, a vase; all were assortments that buyers with a heavier purse would find interest in or even an appraiser should they walk by.

Lentia is walking around the bazaar as she munches on a chocolate muffin. Then suddenly, something attracts her attention. Something, some animal--an eagriff, is flying above the market, making everyone awe-struck. "Well, well.." she murmurs after she recovers from the surprise. Who is the rider? He / She is daring enough to let hundred pair of eyes on him / her and that animal for sure--some guards will probably check on them too, just to make sure that they have clearance and not up to something good.

Finishing her pastry, the peacekeeper marches to the direction where the eagriff lands. She spots the rider; a young man with brown hair and arched brows. Doesn't look to awesome for her taste, but no one can judge a book just by its cover, right?

Lentia stalks him and the eagriff, and leans to a nearby pole as he sets up his shop. When he finished, she casually makes her way to the pair, "Hello," and smiles to the merchant. Though it doesn't even take a second to make her look away from him and to his eagriff. "Can I touch it?" she asks softly, eyeing the animal with a rather dreamy look.
