Galaeron was just enjoying an afternoon in a small tavern. He was happy and irritated at the same time. The elf was happy because that he was able to get away from Reluir for a bit and see new sights. But on the other hand……………..Tusa probably wasn’t the best place for him to visit, or at least not this tavern. It was true that he had some “friends” from here…and he did come to Tusa to visit time to them….but this tavern was such a poor choice on Galaeron’s part.

The people were…Too loud and the music was awful, and now some random guy was approaching him. The only good thing the dark elf could saw about this tavern was the food is delicious. Galaeron took a breath and prepared himself for whatever nonsense this most like drunk patron had to spew at him.

Tusa wasn't exactly Zeria’s number one most wanted destination, mostly because the region was nothing but never ending deserts, but she could proudly say that the towns always seemed full of life. From the brightly decorated exotic clothing styles of the towns’ peoples to the slightly spicy food choices, everything about Tusa showed pure individuality which always brought a glistening smile to her face. In all honesty, Tusa would truly be one of Zeria’s favorite traveling locations if it had more greenery. Growing up in Estraude forced the half elf to become greatly accustomed to a world of never ending plants and towering trees, so if a new land had less than the amount of greenery she’d preferred, Zeria would end up placing the town on a lower standard than her home town; but never the less she would never despise the location entirely.

Tightening her the scarf around her head, in order to keep the sun from her sight, the olive colored woman turned down a few roads until she reached a rather rambunctious tavern. Inhaling a deep breath of Tusa humid air, she opened the wooden door and stepped into what seemed like a war zone to her. People were scattered about flailing their limbs in all directions, the music echoed in an outrageously obnoxious tone, and the smell was so horrid that she was almost tempted to step out of the building to grab another breath of pure air. Unfortunately, she knew that if she left the tavern her job would not be complete and she would not earn her money for the day’s work. Furrowing her bows, and nipping at her bottom lip, the young olive skinned woman hid her face as well as she could in her scarf and headed straight to the taverns counter with great haste. Upon arrival, she exchanged a few words with the woman that worked behind the counter until a smile grew upon her face and she pointed at a door that lead further into the building. Scurrying, Zeria rushed through the door and into the owners office were she handed him a delicately wrapped bouquet of extremely unique flowers that rested her a hand woven basket. The owner seemed pleased and handed over his sum of money to Zeria, in which she took humbly and left after a short leisure conversation. Before long, the olive woman was back into the war zone once more but this time things seemed to have become more out of hand than before. Her direct route from her location to the exist had become blocked by a small hoard of intoxicated customers who happily sung to the music being played; in their out of tuned voices. Deeply frowning, the half elf licked her lips and started to avoid the group of people only to mistakenly bump into a few unhappy customers. Exchanging apologies, her knees started to shake as she started to hide her face more and more behind her lightly colored pink scarf.

Growing extremely nervous of the tavern, the half elf decided to take a seat at a table and wait for the crowd to dye down a bit before making a mad dash out of the hell hole, but as she glanced about most of the tables seemed to be flooded with people. Tightening her bite upon her bottom lip, she decided to head over to a table that sat a lonely figure. Approaching with caution, she slightly bent down in order for the figure to notice her within their peripheral vision. Giving a small wave, she placed upon a worried expression as her voice started to become drowned out by the yelling choir, ”Good Afternoon.” Zeria struggled to speak, ”Do you mind if I sit with you for a few minutes until they are done singing? I promise not to pester you.” Holding up her left hand with her pinky held high, she smiled happily at the dark elf who sat by themselves. Shortly after speaking to the lonely like figure, an older gentleman with tanned skin and a raggedy scarf that hid his eyes extremely well in the dim light of tavern, came up to Zeria and the dark elf with an old smile a crossed his face; which sent shivers down Zeria’s spine. The older man gave the two a nod of his head before placing a kiss upon the back of Zeria’s left hand and a firm grip upon the dark elf’s shoulder.

”H-Hello?” She responded as an uncomfortable sensation started to wash over her. It was one thing to be in a creepy place like this to begin with, but now some weird placed a peck upon her hand made her want to run out the door crying. She didn't like taverns to begin with and she definitely wasn't going to like them after this.

”Hello, you two,” The man grinned as he took a seat upon the opposite side of the table of the dark elf, "It always brings me great pleasure to see such a beautiful young couple happily together, but I’m sure that as a young couple you two are struggling with some money; yes?”

Instantly Zeria’s eyes widened as her brain suddenly became fluttered with a whole bunch of rebuttals, yet her mouth refused to work. Dumb-strucked by the creepy man, Zeria tightened her grip upon her scarf as her mind yelled ‘no’, but her head nodded ‘yes’ to his statement.

Oh Atros, why……

The short dark elf began to think to himself. Why were these people getting louder? Why did he stop here? Earlier, when the tavern was less crowded, it was a….charming little place with rustic appeal and amazing food. But now it was becoming unbearable and it was solely because of the people, but he guess this sort of thing is to be expected when alcohol was involved. Luckily enough, Galaeron manage to keep most people away with his dirty looks and overall negative disposition. That is until an odd-looking wood elf began to approach him.

She seemed…meek, and had weird patches of pink all over her body. As she spoke, Galaeron hardly pain any attention to her words, he just stared at her skin trying to figure out what was wrong with her.

Oh god I hope it’s not contagious wait, did she say something?

“Wait—what did you say?” Galaeron snapped out of his thoughts and addressed the girl. He was curt with his words, not really caring if his tone of voice would offend the odd one.

“Listen yo---“suddenly another stranger approached the table. “…..What the….hell….” the young cursed under his breath just low enough for no one to hear him. The stranger walked up to the female and kissed her hand which made Galaeron…perplex. Maybe they knew each other from somewhere? But all thoughts seem to stop as soon as Gal felt his shoulder grabbed. He’s face went from confused to pissed in a matter of seconds as Galaeron swipe the stranger’s hand off. Just by the girl’s reaction only it was clear that she didn’t know this man, and upon further inspection she looked rather uncomfortable. The dark elf took a step back in a very stand off-ish matter then said, “I don’t remember giving you permission to touch me.” His voice was low and seemingly calm, but it dripped with anger.

Who was this guy??? And Who the Hell did he think he is??? Wh—

“A couple!?? Sir you obviously Had too much to drink, and you’re drunk beyond your mind. Take this “friendly” piece of advice and go find a corner to past out in,” he nearly spat. Pfft as if this man had the means to help anyone with money problems. He probably had been robbed already. Galaeron knew he would take advantage…and rob someone as stupid as this man.

Clearing his throat, the older gentleman folded his hands together as he leaded forward within his seat. His smiling expression quickly turned serious as he slightly shook his head at Gal. “Young sir, believe it or not, I don’t have a single ounce of alcohol within my system; unlike you.” He proclaimed as he gestured his Gal’s mug, “But that’s beside the point, regardless or weather you two are a couple or not, the deal that I have right now is one you definitely don’t wish to pass up.” Leaning forward the older man lowered his voice enough for others to struggle on their conversations, but loud enough for Gal and Zeria to hear him relatively well without having to struggle. “Believe it or not, I am of higher power within this hell hole of a city and I have recently laid hands upon a precious artifact that could supply water for the people. Unfortunately, I am obviously in no condition to go searching for the location that is supplied upon the artifact. If you’re interested in earning quite a bit of money for looking for a small messily location for me, than we have a deal. Name your price.” With a smirk, the older man leaned back to a leisurely sitting position as he glanced between Gal and Zeria.

Blinking back her stunned expression, Zeria glanced over at the taller darker elf in pure curiosity. Despite money allowing her to improve on her shop and help some of the less fortunate within her community, she still had a small feeling that there was something off about this man.

“I know that you two are probably thinking that I’m some crazy bat who’d trying to mess with your heads, but I’m being completely obvious. The location upon the artifact help this poor dehydrated town have some water. You do realize that countless of citizens are dying from lack of water; correct?”

Licking her lips, Zeria glanced over at Gal almost curious as to what he was going to say, but something dawned on her, who cared about the money when these people needed the water? To make it worst, if they denied the mission than more people would bend over and pass. That wasn’t something that Zeria exactly wanted upon her subconscious. Walking up to the older man, she snatched up his hand with a small smile upon her face, “Yes, yes! We’ll help you don’t need to ask us twice! We’ll help the towns’ people without anything in return!”

“Oh, good, good! But I insist, I’ll have something for the two of you upon your return. Here-“ Reaching into his pocket, the older man grabbed a small parchment with ink upon the inside of it and handed it over to Zeria happily, “Take the artifact, lovely, and I shall meet the two of you back here within three days’ time. Thank you.”

Turning back to Gal, Zeria held up the small parchment with a smile upon her face. Without a second thought in the world, she snatched up the dark elves hand and started to head towards the now less crowded exist to the tavern. “Come on, Mr. Dark Elf sir. We do not have a lot of time and quite a bit of ground to cover! We should stop of some place to buy some food and water before heading out. Sounds good?” Pulling the dark elf out of the busy bar and back into the humid air of Tusa, Zeria turned back to him and held out of opposite hand, “My names Zeria. What’s yours?”

“I’ll watch your tongue old man,” the dark elf retorted harshly. “This ounce of alcohol in my system is probably the only thing keeping me from reaching over this table, and punching you right in the face.” He snarled in annoyance as the man spoke. With a snarled, Galaeron crossed his arms over his chest still clearly very annoyed. However there were a couple of things that the old man said that did caught his eyes immediately which was money, messy location, and name your price. He was just about to jump head first onto this deal but….something was off and wrong.

But before he could even open his mouth the female stepped up and took the deal, this alarmed Galaeron greatly. “W-Whoa wait a minut--- Without Anything in Return Are you MA--!?---HEY I’m TALKING HER---!!!” The male tried to speak up between the two but ended up squeaking like a mouse after his hand was grabbed and then further dragged out of the tavern. “Hey…HEY! HEY!!! STOP IT!” He snapped viciously, after they reached outside the dark elf snatched his hand away from the girl then huffed at her.

“Oh…”he cracked a smile, “your name is Zeria? That’s great!” He chimes purposely not shaking her hand. “Now I know to whom I’m addressing, WHILE I SCOLD YOU LIKE A DAMN CHILD!” The male snapped , “Are you……OUT OF YOUR MIND? You have NO idea who that guy was, and didn’t even take a damn SECOND TO THINK THIS THROUGH. Like ARE YOU SERIOUS??” Oh boy he was really angry was two seconds away from grabbing his own hair and ripping it out. “YOU…You…you DAMN TWIT! This guy could be completely screwing us over! Just…THINK ABOUT IT!” Galaeron nearly jumped up extremely pissed off, “WHY WHY why Would a guy of Fucking “Higher Power” Walk up to TWO COMPLETE STRANGERS And asked them to take up such a task!?!?!?! Can you answer that? You Didn't even give me a chance to say something!

!?! UGH!” he screamed, “I can’t fucking BELIEVE THIS!”
