The Late Wake was coming up fast, and all of Iadlain could feel it around them. Literally. There were shadows spread about the town. And in the shadows, there lurked movement - quick, hurried feet, feet racing against the damp landscape. If one looked closely enough, they could see the glittering ruby eyes as they glanced ahead to where their destination lay.
Poltergeists, some residents whispered.
For the past couple of days, peculiar things were happening under the guise of night. The library a particular tattoo artist frequented, was falling prey to copious amounts of specterly activity. So much so in fact, the man couldn't even read a proper scroll nor volume without a large book or swish of papers about the place disturbing his focus (and mental health!). Pleasing fairies was something ingrained in him as a child growing up in Koben, but whatever these were, Belenos had no clue on how to handle the situation. Which was a pity, as he only really had free time during the late nights, arriving after closing up shop for the day.
Something surely could be done!
"You're positive this is the right place Helene?~"
The man looked down at his friend with a teasing smile. The residence did look more like a vanilla apothecary than a alleged ghost busting business. But he, of all people, should know looks could be quite deceiving~
The small house simply titled 'Healer', in all its splendor, stood quietly, oblivious for the moment to the approaching strangers. The brunette had spent a good while trekking out of the city center, and to the reserved location, following the directions of the girl who accompanied him. Helene, the female elf and cherished customer, had said this man who lived here had experience in his sort of dilemma.
